Preschool

Homeschooling your children when the age range is large can be challenging, at least it is for me. My two older girls are 8 and 10 and my youngest is an active toddler who is eager for stimulation and challenge.

In recent months, I have felt the need to be more proactive in doing things with him which is hard when teaching in a fairly hands-on way with the girls. However, I have discovered some amazing resources and have taken to  "intentional playing" (a term used by the author of this wonderful blog: 1+1+1/TotSchool - see below) which has been great fun for both of us.

I'd like to share my some of my favourite blogs with you:

Tot School - She shares her idea about focused time with your toddler and has created many beautiful resources. There are many other blogs linked with hers and these are full of great ideas too. I highly recommend it for ideas of ways to spend time with your toddler.

Confessions of a Homeschooler - she has amazing resources for each letter of the alphabet and I use her printables all the time. It is a really great blog.

Teach Mama - a lovely blog with plenty of ideas for teaching your preschooler.

There are lots of great resources out there but these are just a few that I have  got a lot of my ideas from most recently.
